Next Monday in our 7PM class period I'll be offering Introduction to Kundalini Yoga. In this class I'll be introducing a few core concepts and techniques and we'll experience a couple of Kundalini Yoga kriyas and mediations. If there is interest I plan to continue this as a once a month class and will try to give people enough material so that they can take some practices home to work with between classes. These classes are open to anyone, and they are free to local dues paying members of the Lodge, a$7 donation to the Lodge is asked for everyone else. Kundalini Yoga is easily adaptable to everyone's level, so even if you have never done any yoga before you will enjoy its benefits. More advanced yogis will be able to easily push the challenges to their own level.
Things to Bring:::
A yoga mat - you will definitely need this as the hard wood floor is hard
Bring or wear comfortable exercise or yoga clothes. Sweats and a T are fine.
Water - you will get thirsty. You can buy water at the coffee shop if you forget.
Cushion to sit on. (optional) We spend a lot of time sitting cross legged on the floor.
Light blanket. Virtually every Kundalini Yoga class includes a period of deep relaxation. It's nice to be able to cover up a little to keep warm.
